Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP are utilites that enhance and add functionality to Windows. There are around fourteen utilities available and each can be installed separately. Some of the utilites available are:
  • Open Command Window Here: When you open the command-line window the directory path is Documents and Settings. It may be quite frustrating to drill-down to a folder of your choice. 'Open Command Window Here' allows you to open command-line window from a Folder of your choice.
  • HTML Slide Show Wizard: This allows you to create a slide show of digital images
  • Alt-Tab Replacement: Do you frequently multi-task and have several windows open? If so, this is for you. The Alt-Tab Replacement tool allows you to see a preview of the page you are switching.
  • Image Resizer:This allows you to resize one or more images to one of the four standard sizes available. The options available to resize are Small (fits 640*480 screen), Medium (fits 800*600 screen), Large (fits 1024*768 screen), and Handheld PC (fits 240*320 screen).
