 You can change the default view of Folders to either Tiles, Icons, List, or Details by the following steps.  
  • Let us assume that by default the Folders appear as 'Tiles' view and you would like to have them changed to 'Details' view.
  • Select View > Details from the menu (You can also choose the other options, Icons or List as per your choice).
  • Apply this change to all Folders
  • Select Tools > Folder Options from the menu. Folder Options window appears.
  • Select <Apply to All Folders> button.
  • Select <Yes> in the message window.
  • Select the <Apply> button and select <OK>.
To rearrange the folders in groups, select View > Arrange Icons By > Show in Groups. This arranges the folders alphabetically.
