'cmd' is the command line utility for Windows NT based systems including Windows 2000 and XP. The Command Line tool can be opened by selecting Start > Run and by entering 'cmd' in the window. Entering 'Help' in the command prompt provides help information. The command window properties can be modified for ease of use.
The properties that can be modified include:
