Repeating Excel Header Rows

{lang: 'ar'}

If your worksheet has several pages, it will be useful to have the header row repeat in all the pages. This will improve productivity as the user need not flip to the first page to view the header row columns.

The following are the steps:

  • Open the worksheet in Excel
  • Select File > Page Setup from the menu
  • Open ‘Sheet’ tabbed region
  • Click ‘Rows to repeat at top’ – This displays ‘Page Setup – Rows to repeat at top’ window
  • Select the header row, which is to be repeated on all pages. Note that the selected row is displayed in the Page Setup – Rows to repeat at top’ window
  • Close ‘Page Setup – Rows to repeat at top’ window by clicking the x
  • Click ‘Print Preview’ to ensure
  • Click ‘OK’ in the Page Setup window
