Office 2007 Ribbon Keyboard Shortcuts

Ribbon is new in Office 2007 and represents a collection of tabs and their associated commands or activities. Refer to this article on Office 2007 Ribbon.

The Ribbon tabs can also be accessed by using the keyboard.

Open Word 2007 document (or Excel 2007)
Press and release the Alt key. Note the shortcut key displayed as shown below (Word 2007)

In the above screen print, Insert tab has a key ‘N’
Press N in the keyboard and note the shortcut keys for the commands available for the Insert tab. Similarly, the other tabs and their associated commands can be accessed by pressing the keys displayed.
