Repeating Header Row in OpenOffice Calc

If your worksheet has several pages, it will be useful to have the header row print in all the pages. This will improve productivity as the user need not flip to the first page to view the header row columns. These steps are applicable for OpenOfice Calc

The following are the steps:

  • Open the worksheet in Calc
  • Select Format > Print Ranges > Edit from the menu. Edit Print Ranges window is displayed
  • Place the cursor in Rows to repeat field and using the mouse select the entire header row. Click OK

  • Note that the selected row is displayed in the Rows to repeat field
Note: To select additional header rows, press the Shift key and select
  • Click ‘Print Preview’ to ensure header row repetition
